Lower Class Children: Closer to the Purpose of Life

Lower class children have a less materialistic attitude.  Aside from the most obvious reasons, it is not just because they lack the funds to become materialistic or technology to be materialistic; it is because they have more time to focus on the finer things in life such as family, friends and laughter.  This is not to say that upper and middle class children do not have an appreciation for family and the like, but lower class children have less of an opportunity to become materialistic. The Middle Class: Plans for the Future

It's no mystery that the consensus this past decade or so is that the middle class of America was left behind. Not good news for the long recession/recovery. After all, it makes sense to assert that the middle class is the backbone of the United States. So why let it fall by the wayside? Spend Time Before Money

Raising a middle class child in an upper class environment can be as tough as warding off swarming bees.  Children are delicate little creatures and we want to keep them safe, even if it means giving them things to make them happy in order to keep them from shedding a tear.  It is your job as their mother, father or guardian to teach them the value of life and the value of “things”.  The accumulation of “things” is not as important as the accumulation of memories.  This is a very hard lesson to teach our children, because as parents it is our first instinct is to give them … [Read more...]
